Slot machines are actual free-standing "machines" easily identified by their spinning reels and pull handles. The concept is simple, drop in some coins, pull the handle and hope the reel
symbols line up. Different symbols win different amounts, and there's usually a jackpot available to be won.
Slot machines are a total game of chance. There are no rules to learn, and the outcome is totally random. The ease of play, the potential huge payoffs, the noise and the excitement level
around the slot area all contribute to a high entertainment value for some.
Slot machines come in a variety of forms with diverse symbols on the wheels and numerous payout systems. Slot machines can have from three to five reels/wheels and one to five payoff lines.
In all of them the basic idea is the same, to line up particular symbols on the payout line. The less likely a combination is to occur, the greater the payoff.
The most basic slot machines require you to bet one coin (a fixed amount such as a dollar), they have only three reels, only one payout line, and pay a multiple of the bet coins value
(e.g. Three cherries on the payout line will result in a payout 300 times the bet coins value). The player inserts the coin and pulls a handle (or presses a button on the front panel) and waits for
the wheels to stop on the payout line to see if, and how much they have won (the payout symbols and payoff values are posted on the front of the machine). The more complex machines accept
more than one coin (up to five), can have up to five wheels, and many also have up to five payout lines (three across and two diagonal).
5 Reel Drive
is a five-reel, nine payline, and nine coin slot machine. The
multiple paylines increase your chances of winning. 5 Reel Drive
has a wild symbol, and a scatter symbol.
The Winding Road Sign symbol is wild and can substitute for all
other symbols except the Police Car scatter symbol to complete
winning combinations. The Police Car symbol is a scatter symbol.
This means that it does not need to appear in a line on an enabled
payline to win. It can be scattered anywhere on the five reels
provided that three or more Police Car symbols appear. Winnings
are calculated by multiplying the number of Police Car symbols
by the total number of credits bet.
Note: For every coin that you bet, you enable another payline.
You are paid out for winning combinations on enabled paylines
only.
Desert Treasure Video Slot is a fast paced action packed 5 reel 20 line slot game with a desert theme, a wild and scatter symbol, and two bonus features. When you get three or more Bonus symbols on an active payline, you are taken to the Bonus round. There, you get to choose as many prizes as you had bonus symbols. Each prize has a different payout. Bonus payouts are multiplied by the line bet. The Wild symbol can stand for any other symbol (except Scatter and Bonus symbols), to make the best possible winning combination. There is also a separate payout for several Wild symbols on an active payline. The Scatter symbols do not have to occur on a particular payline – if there are two or more of them on the game field, you get an additional win and if you get three or more scatter symbols, you get 10 free spins. The payout for scatter symbols is multiplied by your total bet, not the line bet.
The
feature game is triggered when the Lady Bug symbol appears
anywhere on reel 1 and the Love Bug symbol appears anywhere on
reel 5. The bugs catch Credit Prizes that fall from 4 bridges
as they float along a Venice Canal. If a "Diamond Ring" is
caught, all prizes during the feature are tripled. If a
"Necklace" is caught, 15 free games are also awarded. The
feature cannot be retriggered during the free games. Bonus
round and free games wins are added to payline and scatter
wins.
