My next mission, download the software and try them out. The download was quick
and the installation a breeze. Within minutes my real player registration was
complete and I was off to claim my $20 Free Bonus. Aztec Riches has a fabulous
program called "Casino Action" which provides players with more competitions
and prizes than any other online casino. This is absolutely fantastic - you can
claim your own bonuses! I used the "Collect - a - Prize" feature and
my $20 bonus was credited immediately!
The software is superb, one of the best Microgaming outfits I have played at,
and I've played them all! I played a few hands of blackjack, over to video poker,
then finally to the slots. I wanted to play a little longer on the progressives
so I decided to take advantage of the 50% welcome bonus and made a deposit. I
deposited $100 and went back to "Casino Action" to collect my prize.
I was astonished to see that the bonus was there instantly!
Back to the slots and I wasn't disappointed.

, that to this day has some influence.
In the 1890's, slot machines can best be described as semi-legal. By paying the players, slot machines were made illegal, and eventually banned in California. Charles Fey continued to produce his machines regardless.
He knew his machines were popular and that the end users were the ones using his inventions illegally. Why should he give up producing, when as far as he was concerned, they were legal if used correctly?
He continued to produce and sell his inventions, and was eventually arrested and fined.
It was never legal to produce or own slot machines again in California as long as Charles Fey was alive. Production was legal in other states and these producers often copied his machines and sold them to his clients.
I wonder what Charles Fey would be thinking of doing in the year 2000 with Internet gambling and online casinos. Are we missing out on the latest invention of the "Liberty Bell"?

A big mistake that a lot of people make when they first start playing slots
is neglecting to set a finite amount of money for each session of play. A session
of play could be a night, a day, an hour, or a week! However long you plan to
be playing slots you should always set a limit that you are willing to LOSE
and stick to it. Once you hit that limit DON'T GO OVER! Playing slots is a game
for Adults. If you don't have the self control and discipline to set a limit
and not spend over it then you don't deserve to play. That may sound harsh but
it's the truth. This is your livelihood your toying with, and if you're not
responsible with your money your livelihood could go down the drain. It happens
every day. So do yourself a favor and don't let it happen to you. Every time
you plan to visit a casino take the time to sit down and figure out how much
you can afford to lose. If you're going on a holiday then budget an amount for
the week. If you're just going for a night then budget an amount for the night.
There is no rule for how much is right, but the best way to think of it is,
how much you would spend on a normal night out, or a normal weekend outside
of the casino. If you would normally sped $100 out with friends outside of a
casino in a night, then set your casino limit for the night at $100. Once you
set this amount you can either do one of two things: you can sit down prior
to going to the casino and budget out how you're going to spend the money, in
other words on what games. The other way is to wait until you go to the casino
and just spend as you go. This method is a little more risky because it's easier
to lose track of how much you're spending. The best way to spend as you go is
to take out your entire bankroll for that evening as soon as you get to the
casino. Spend only that cash, then, when you run out you know for sure that
it's time to quit.
As an added money management tool some people like to actually keep a pen and
notepad with them throughout the night, and will actually record ho much money
they are spending on each game. When they win they write it down-when they lose
they write it down. Micromanaging your budget this way can be a very smart way
of deciding what slots games you want to play throughout your session. For instance
if you see that you are losing money a little faster then you normally would
on a certain progressive game, then you might consider switching to a flat top
game with fewer reels.
No mater how wealthy you are there is no excuse for playing slots without setting
a budget, even the richest Arab Sheiks have the good sense to set limits. If
you really like to play slots it's the only way to ensure you can continue to
play on into the future.

A single Fortune Cookie symbol on the payline completes
the winning combination of a single Cherry symbol.
With 2 coins bet, a single Cherry symbol combination
pays out 4 coins. However, a Fortune Cookie symbol
is displayed, so the payout is 4 x 2 = 8 coins.
Two Fortune Cookie symbols and a 3-Bar symbol on
the payline, combine to produce a three 3-Bar symbols
combination. With 2 coins bet, a three 3-Bar symbols
combination pays out 100 coins. However, two Fortune
Cookie symbols are showing, so the payout is 100 x
4 = 400 coins.

Progressive slots are very similar to regular slot machines with one
difference, there is a jackpot that is constantly gaining in value. The
value of the jackpot is updated regularly and displayed at all times on
top of the screen. Progressive slots are a group of a great number of
slot machines that are linked together by a network. A small percentage
of the money that is wagered on each game on each machine in the
network, is added to the total progressive jackpot. Anyone playing any
machine in the network can win the jackpot.
One thing about progressive slots is that the Progressive Jackpot is
not shown in coins but it's shown in credits. For example, if the
progressive reads out 9,700 it means credits not that many coins. In
progressive slots the jackpots are considerably larger than regular
jackpots, some are large enough to be life changing.
There are two major things to remember about all progressive slots,
first the money for the jackpot comes from a part of the money played
through the machine and second is that in order to win the jackpot you
absolutely must be playing the maximum coins. If you don't want to play
the max then progressives are not what you want to play. The jackpot in
the progressive slots keeps growing until one lucky player hits it big.
After a progressive jackpot has been won the network of machines gets
reset to a pre-determined number and the play starts again. Always look
for the slot game with the biggest jackpot there is a better chance that
it will be won sooner. If you are that lucky player and you do win the
progressive jackpot then a splash screen will appear to let you know
that you have it.
What a lot of progressive slot players are not aware of is that
there are two levels of play, primary and secondary. A primary jackpot
is the very top jackpot that if offered when a player gets the
combination which will pay for the jackpot. The top or primary jackpot,
is the jackpot that shows the most money and is usually shown with a
bigger display than secondary jackpots. Secondary jackpots are displayed
much smaller but like the primary jackpots they still increase according
to the amount of play through money. The secondary jackpots are hit more
often so they don't usually have jackpots that are as large as the
primary. If both jackpots are high (primary and secondary) this
indicates that neither one have been hit, but have had a lot of play so
the chances of winning the jackpot sooner are much greater. A player has
many choices to make when they are about to play progressive slots, as
long as you know what you are looking for and are well informed on the
rules and payouts you should do very well.
