Spring Break is a five reel, nine payline, and forty-five
coin slot machine. It has a scatter and a wild, multiplier
symbol.
Spring Break has two Bonus Features. These are Free
Spins and Gamble.
Three or more Beach Party symbols displayed on the
reels, activates the Free Spins bonus game.
You are given 15 free spins. All the bets and paylines
played in the 15 free spins are the same as the game
that started the Free Spins feature. All wins during
the 15 free spins are tripled.
If three or more Beach Party symbols are scattered
on the five reels during a Free Spins bonus game,
you are awarded another 15 free spins. The extra 15
free spins are added to the remaining number of free
spins.
Winnings are paid out on the highest combination
on each enabled payline only, except for scatter wins.
Scatter wins are added to payline wins.
You are paid out for winning combinations on enabled
paylines only, except for scatter wins. The Beach
Party symbol can appear in any position on the reels.
The value of the Free Spins and the Gamble Bonus features
prizes are displayed in credits, not coins. All regular
payouts are in coins.
Malfunctions void all plays and pays.
The Spring Break symbol is a wild, multiplier symbol.
This means that it substitutes for any other symbol
to complete winning combinations, except the Beach
Party symbol. And doubles the payout of any combination
it completes.
Multiple Spring Break symbols on an enabled payline
create winning combinations as shown in the Payout
Table.
Multiple Spring Break symbol only multiplies payouts
if it acts as a wild symbol.
1. Two Spring Break symbols and a single Burrito
symbol on an enabled payline complete a three Burrito
symbols combination, and pay out 10 coins. However,
two Spring Break symbols are displayed, so the payout
is 10 x 2 = 20 coins. Since two Spring Break symbols
pay out 10 coins, you are paid out for the three Burrito
symbols combination, as it is the higher value payout.
2. Three Spring Break symbols and two Road Trip symbols
on an enabled payline complete a five Road Trip symbols
combination, and pay out 800 coins. However, three
Spring Break symbols are displayed, so the payout
is 800 x 2 = 1,600 coins. Since three Spring Break
symbols pay out 200 coins, you are paid out for the
five Road Trip symbols combination, as it is the higher
value payout.
3. Four Spring Break symbols and a single Popsicle
symbol on an enabled payline complete a five Popsicle
symbols combination, and pay out 100 coins. Since,
four Spring Break symbols payout 2,000 coins, you
are paid out for the four Spring Break symbols combination,
as it is the higher value payout.
4. Five Spring Break symbols on an enabled payline
complete a winning combination, as per the payout
schedule, and pay out 10,000 coins.
The Beach Party symbol is a scatter symbol. This
means that it does not need to appear in a line on
an enabled payline to win. It can be scattered anywhere
on the five reels, provided two or more Beach Party
symbols appear.
You are paid out for winning combinations on enabled
paylines only, except for scatter wins. The Beach
Party symbol can appear in any position, on any of
the reels.
The Spring Break symbol does not complete a scatter
symbol combination.
Winnings are calculated by multiplying the number
of Beach Party symbols by the total number of credits
bet.
If you have a scatter win and a normal win, you
are paid out for both wins, as the scatter symbol
does not need to appear on an enabled payline to win.
Example:
1. One Beach Party symbol and one Spring Break symbol
scattered anywhere on the five reels, does not complete
a winning combination, as the Spring Break symbol
does not substitute for the scatter symbol. A minimum
of two Beach Party symbols completes a winning scatter
combination.
2. If you have selected a 0.50 coin and bet 5 coins
on each of the 9 paylines, your total bet amount is
0.50 x 5 coins = 2.50 credits per payline x 9 paylines
= 22.50 total credits bet.
Three Beach Party symbols scattered anywhere on the
five reels, completes a scatter winning combination
as shown in the Payout Schedule. Three Beach Party
symbols pay out the total amount of credits bet, multiplied
by 5. Therefore, your total payout is 22.50 total
credits bet x 5 = 112.50 credits won.
3. If you have selected a 0.50 coin and bet 5 coins
on each of the 9 paylines, your total bet amount is
0.50 x 5 coins = 2.50 credits per payline x 9 paylines
= 22.50 total credits bet.
Three Beach Party symbols scattered anywhere on the
five reels, and three Barbecue symbols on an enabled
payline, complete two winning combinations as shown
in the Payout Schedule. Three Beach Party symbols
complete a scatter winning combination and pays out
the total number of credits bet multiplied by 5. So,
you are paid 22.50 total credits bet x 5 = 112.50
credits.
Three Barbecue symbols complete a 3 Barbecue symbols
winning combination and pays out 10 coins. As you
bet 2.50 credits per payline, you are paid 10 coins
x 2.50 credits per payline = 25 credits.
Therefore, the total payout is 112.50 + 25 = 137.50
credits.

Liberty Bell. The Beginning of the Slot Machine.
German Immigrant, Charles Fey, credited with inventing slot machine.
In California, (especially San Francisco), in the 1890's, gambling was a popular type of entertainment. Many forms of slot machines existed at that time.
Charles Fey aimed at competing with these
existing slot machines with his "Liberty Bell". The "Liberty Bell" had many unique features that soon distinguished his machines.
Players liked the Liberty Bell, and any good establishment
gives the players what they like. The Liberty Bell was a big hit, and Charles Fey was given credit for inventing a "new"
standard in slot machines, that to this day has some
influence.
In the 1890's, slot machines can best be described
as semi-legal. By paying the players, slot machines were made illegal, and eventually banned in California. Charles Fey continued to produce his machines regardless.
He knew his machines were popular and that the end users
were the ones using his inventions illegally. Why should he
give up producing, when as far as he was concerned, they
were legal if used correctly?
He continued to produce and sell his inventions, and was eventually
arrested and fined.
It was never legal to produce or own slot machines
again in California as long as Charles Fey was alive. Production
was legal in other states and these producers often copied his
machines and sold them to his clients.
I wonder what Charles Fey would be thinking of doing in the year
2000 with Internet gambling and online casinos. Are we missing
out on the latest invention of the "Liberty Bell"?
